It’s interesting that yesterday (28 January), the day Luton Town were drawn at home to Manchester City in the FA Cup, was the anniversary of one of the most remarkable FAC games between the two clubs. On 28 January 1961 Denis Law’s six goals for City against Luton in the FAC were wiped from the records when the game was abandoned. City were winning 6-2.
