In 2005 , to mark the 50th anniversary of the 1955 FA Cup final between Manchester City and Newcastle I took a look at the players who appeared for City in that game. The article that follows was published in May 2005. The Blues lost the match 3-1, but it remained a significant anniversary in the history of the club.
