The Oldest Manchester Club?

I’ve researched a lot on the history of Manchester’s prominent clubs and so I know how the history of those teams has often been incorrectly reported. So, I’m just going to post this and make no further comment today. This is an article from October 1912 which talks of Manchester City as Manchester’s oldest football club.
